How to request deletion of your MyRemindApp account

Option 1: from the app (recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the MyRemindApp app:

  1. Open the app and sign in to your account
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll to the account section and tap "🗑️ Delete account"
  4. Confirm twice — this action is permanent
⚠️ Account deletion is final and immediate. There is no grace period, and data cannot be recovered after confirmation.

Option 2: by email

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion by emailing the address below from the email address linked to your account:

Email requests are processed manually, usually within 7 business days.

What data is deleted

Account (email, password, subscription plan) Permanently deleted from Firebase Authentication
Reminders (name, dates, categories, notes) Permanently deleted
Attached documents (PDFs, photos) Stored only locally on the device — removed automatically when the app is uninstalled
Shared groups You are removed from all groups. If you were the only member of a group, the group is deleted; if other members existed, ownership is automatically transferred to another member.
Push tokens, email counters Permanently deleted

Retention period

Data is deleted immediately upon confirmation in the app. For email requests, data is deleted once the request is processed (within 7 business days).
